Discover the unique brewing technique that combines hot water and ice to instantly cool down the coffee, resulting in a crisp, vibrant flavor profile. Our new summer blend, Block Party, was specially crafted to complement this method perfectly. 20g - Block Party
100g - Ice
200g - Hot Water (205F)
Hario V60 Dripper
Decanter, pitcher or large vessel
Hario V60 Filters
Prep your coffee + V60
Grind slightly finer than your usual pour-over brew (Medium course, slightly closer to drip. Adjust from there as needed!)
Pre-wet your filter with hot water, discard
Add 100g of ice to decanter, place dripper on top
Add 20g of coffee to pre-wet filter
First pour: 40g to bloom
Second pour: At 0:40, pour 80g water (to 120g)
Third pour: At 1:15, pour 80g of water (to 200g)
Let drain (target brewing time 2:30-3:00)
Swirl or stir until remaining ice is melted and incorporated
Serve in a cup with ice and enjoy!
Yields 12oz. We taste cranberry juice, apple and concord grapes. Be sure to play around with your grind size until you find the perfect balance!
