Manhattan is our most developed coffee, roasted to emphasize bold flavors of bittersweet chocolate and deeply caramelized sugars while maintaining a heavy, satisfying body. Manhattan does double-duty as a filter or espresso offering and is our coffee of choice with added milk. 

We rotate the components of Manhattan seasonally—dark roasts deserve fresh coffee too!—but it always features a foundation of Brazilian and Central American components, the former to contribute sweetness and body and the latter to deliver rich, satisfying brulêéd sugar notes.

    Fell in love!

    My wife and I spent our anniversary weekend in Brooklyn this past August and I am always on the quest for a new delicious roast. I am unique in the sense that I enjoy darker roasts than most small specialty roasters tend to offer. So many hip roasters only offer very lightly roasted beans. My wife and I went to multiple spots around town and Partners was hands down our favorite. Their darker roast Manhattan came home with me, and I have already since ordered another two pound bag. And if you are reading this review as fan of lighter roasts, one of the things I appreciated most about Partners was their variety. My wife got the best iced coffee she has ever had. The Manhattan Roast has quickly become a staple in our house for our morning Moccamaster. It also works great as an espresso.
