Zulieth is the daughter of Luz Mila Masabuel, another eminent coffee farmer from Inzá, Cauca, in southwestern Colombia. Following in her mother's path, Zulieth now manages her own farm, Finca Bellavista, in the mountains above the town of San José.

Hers is a lovely expression of Cauca's coffee, pairing crisp red apple with warm cherry, caramel, milk chocolate, and subtle citrus—an excellent option for both filter and espresso preparations.

We are especially fond of the community lots we source from Pergamino, our longtime export partners there, which have become staple components of Bedford and Flatiron. Zulieth is among the younger generation of a family of prominent coffee farmers in Cauca.

The flavors are super well balanced, just the right mix of sweetness and acidity, making for a rich and complex cup. Absolutely smooth and satisfying texture as well. I'll be buying this one for as long as it is available.
