SAMUEL DEGELO
A bright, juicy coffee freshly arrived from Ethiopia.
Tasting Notes: Peach, Guava, Lemonade
Roast Level: Light
Description
Samuel Degelo is one of the 800 producers who deliver coffee to the Bishan Dimo Washing Station. He is considered to be one of the station's model farmers, continually expanding and sharing his knowledge for the betterment of his community. He also works at the local elementary school in Danbi Uddo, earning him a nickname "the teacher-farmer, Mr. Samuel."
Samuel's coffee is incredible. Juicy and floral, we taste ripe stone fruit and citrus accents—think syrupy peach, lemon-lime, guava, and raspberry. This is our second year purchasing his coffee and we're delighted to share it with you again.

I'm stoked to have this coffee on menu again. Five years ago it was impossible to secure Ethiopian coffees from a farm this small. Samuel's coffee is superb—similar to Bishan Dimo, but with more prominent florals owing to the mix of varieties he cultivates.
