Gora Kone returns to the menu for the fifth year with another beautiful lot, fresh from the most recent, 2021 harvest. Full of complex and evolving flavors of green apple, red grape, blackberries and stone fruits, this coffee is a perfect welcome to summer.

Located just 80 miles from the classic region of Yirgacheffe, the Gora Kone produces a markedly different yet equally delicious taste profile. More berry than floral, more stonefruit than citrus, this is a beautifully bright, sweet, syrupy cup.

Good brew

Partner’s never sells any coffee that is less than 5-star. I always buy the Ethiopians with the hope of experiencing the exemplary fruitiness for which they are celebrated. This one is excellent quality, but I got more warm spices than fruit. I bought a bag of the Honduras San Francisco at the same time, and it turned out, that the Honduran delivered the fruit bomb instead that I was hoping for. I would buy both again

A good roast. Not sure if Espresso is idea

Very tasty. Great texture and flavor for espresso. Did not have the intense fruity notes that these more expensive Ethiopian roasts often have, but still very good.

Easily Partner's Best

Incredibly flavorful. If you like fruit notes this has a lot of it.

Crisis averted

When UPS temporarily lost my coffee order, Andrew authorized me to pick out some beans of my choice "to tide me over". As I was down to my last bean - actually no beans were left - I raced down Seventh Avenue to the West Village store and chose Chiroso from Colombia because of its powerful coffee aroma which I could gratefully smell even with the bag closed!
