Gachiru is our first offering from Kenya in three years and exemplifies the vibrant, citric flavor profile for which its immaculate coffees are celebrated. Look for a sparkling acidity and pristine clarity with flavors reminiscent of mandarin, rhubarb pie, riesling, and dried apricot, all supported by a juicy body and gingerbread-like sweetness. This will be a short-run stunner of a coffee, perfect for the transition from summer into autumn.

This is a single-producer microlot, something of a rarity for East Africa, from James Gakuru Ngobia in Nyeri County.
