A bit bright for my daily mug, so I did a little experiment. Cracked whole beans with the bottom of a heavy pan, steeped 15 minutes in hot cream, add sugar, egg yolks, vanilla, & salt. Bake in ramekins @ 300° until still jiggly and what do you have? Espresso crème brûlée!
Coffee never tasted so delicious!
The best of the Partners specialty roasts, in my opinion. There is a pretty prominent orange zest as claimed and it's light enough that you can grind finer than usual to get good body while still avoiding any bitterness.
