This method uses full immersion, combined with the addition of pressure to produce a clear, concentrated cup of coffee that is then diluted at the end. This recipe is tailored to make 1-2 servings.
Aeropress: Kenya Gachiru
This Aeropress recipe produces a clear, more concentrated cup of coffee — perfect for tasting single origin flavors.
20g of Medium Ground Coffee (suggested: Kenya - Gachiru)
240g of water
Grind 20g coffee to a medium grind size
Insert filter cap, pre-wet and dump excess water
Add 20g of coffee, and start your timer
Pour 180g of water into grounds, stir gently
Wait 90 seconds
Press slowly for 30 seconds, releasing coffee into cup
Add 60g of hot water to Aeropress concentrate
Stir, and enjoy!
